Ecokins plush is crafted from 100% post-consumer recycled water bottles PET and recycled paper, which saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions. Wild Republic continues the company's commitment to the planet by minimizing the amount of plastic waste affecting our environment. We are focused on reducing the 60 million single-use water bottles used every day from going to the landfill.

The process of creating the adorable Ecokins stuffed animals from water bottles begins with shredding, cleaning, sanitizing, and melting the water bottles. The fibers are then spun into an ultra-soft fabric yarn, which is used to create the fabric, fiber fill, and sewing thread. These stuffed animals are incredibly soft and cuddly, and it's hard to believe they started as a water bottle.

The embroidered eyes and nose are made from the recycled thread, ensuring that the stuffed animals are baby-safe. Additionally, we use recycled paper hangtags printed with soy ink and cotton string instead of plastic cord.

EcoKins 8" Red Panda is made from 7 recycled water bottles, and EcoKins is currently the only plush toy that is made from 100% post-consumer material.
